Take a look at some very creative work from an under-the-radar elective art class that was getting off the ground in Cumming Georgia- just before it was shut-down, that is. This Art Show is bitter-sweet because this year was the 1st Annual Juried Art Show the art teacher had been developing as part of the school's art class. Sadly, the school administration gave Mr. Kennedy the word three weeks before the school year ended that the art class would not continue next year. The class stayed on course though, and finished the year with a bang, the show was judged and Mr. Kennedy entered the Fideles 1st (& Last) Annual Juried Art Show online here on ExemplarJournal.com to share with the world. God gives and God takes away. Mr. Kennedy commented that this particular group of young creatives was one of the most well disciplined group of high schoolers he's had in his 20+ years of teaching art. "Credit to good parenting and hope for the future."
His final word, "Support your local art class. First, take a look at this talent. The amount of awards shows the depth of subjects, art processes and genres this class was introduced to."
